Space Photovoltaic Research and Technology 1980. High Efficiency, Radiation Damage and Blanket TechnologyThe application of silicon solar cells are discussed with respect to their importance in the exploration of space. Several aspects of the technology associated with the development of photovoltaic devices are reported.
