Preliminary design of a superconducting coil array for NASA prototype magnetic balanceUsing a computer program a partly optimized configuration for a supeconducting version of side and lift coil system of NASA-MIT prototype is presented. Cable size for the mentioned coils and also for superconducting drag and magnetizing coils regarding the overall computed field was determined.
