Second-generation X/S feedcone: Capabilities layout, and componentsHigh power (20 kW) S and X-band transmitting systems were added to the Second Generation Common Aperture X/S Feedcone System to demonstrate X and S band uplink/downlink capabilities. Design considerations of new X band components, cone layout, and capabilities are discussed.
