Stowable Rigid ReflectorParabolic reflector 80 feet in diameter stowed in space of only 36.5 feet long and 14.5 feet in diameter with new folding scheme. Upon command, stowed reflector is automatically deployed to full size. Petallike panels unfold from central fixed section to create inner reflector dish. Reflector is composed of rigid panels. Number of panels depend on reflector size when deployed and upon required package size when stowed.
