Integrated Submillimeter-Wave MixerIndium arsenide Schottky-Barrier diodes in gallium antimonide substrate mix submillimeter waves, producing much lower frequency output. Integrated diode array has relatively-high signal-to-noise ratio and wide frequency band. Operates at moderate cryogenic temperatures (100 K).
