Two- and Three-Dimensional Galaxy SimulationsDynamics of galaxies with up to 100,000 stars are simulated in set of computer programs available from COSMIC. In these models, large number of simulation stars move in combined gravitational field produced by stars themselves (self-consistent field) or by external matter (fixed field).
