Remote sensing of optically shallow, vertically inhomogeneous waters: A mathematical modelA multiple-layer radiative transfer model of a vertically inhomogeneous, optically shallow water mass is briefly described. This model is directed toward use in remote sensing properties. Some preliminary results and qualitative predictions are presented.
