Sensitivity of the Earth's climate to changesClimate modeling is discussed with emphasis on the control of major parameters in such modeling. Possible feedbacks which operate on long time scales and are therefore not testable directly, are also discussed. Examples of simplified models are presented. The accuracy of several models is assessed and suggestions for improvements for climatic modeling are given.
