A comprehensive system model for motion/space sickness. Preliminary resultsA preliminary attempt to categorize and order the observed facts regarding motion sickness into a rational structure is discussed. An array of key facts, as assembled from the recent literature, consisting of a collection of motion space sickness observations which should be accounted for in the comprehensive model are given. A model structure which is responsive to the array of key facts, as well as to the other requirements of a working research tool (modularity, ease of use, conciseness, etc.) is also suggested.
