More-Uniform Heat Curing for Structural RepairsCopper lining helps to distribute heat under heating blanket. Bond during setup employs heating blanket over copper sheet within vacuum bag. Copper sheet smoothes out temperature distribution under hotspots in heater. Method applicable to uniformly heating such low-thermal-conductivity metals as titanium or stainless steel.
