Belleville Spring/SealMetallic seal for cavity openings in liquid-nitrogen environments uses Belleville-spring preloaded washer. Due to preloading, Belleville spring/ seal washers slide and deflect to accept radial and axial movement between two sealing surfaces while remaining in sealing contact.
