High speed spherical roller-bearing analysis and comparison with experimental performanceThe capabilities of a spherical roller bearing analysis/design tool, Spherbean (spherical bearing analysis) are described. Capabilities of the analysis are demonstrated and verified by comparison with experimental data. A practical design problem is presented where the computer program is used to improve a particular bearing's performance.
