A program plan for the development of fault tolerant large space systemsThe need for fault tolerance in Large Space systems is discussed. The unique characteristics of LSS which affect fault tolerance are described. The status of fault tolerant research for LSS is described. A program plan to validate and demonstrate the concept of fault tolerance for LSS is developed.
