Infrared (JHK) photometry of asteroids. IIJHK (1.2, 1.6, and 2.2 micron) photometry for 38 asteroids of various spectral classifications is reported. M asteroids tend to have infrared colors intermediate between the color domains of E and P asteroids. A few D asteroids have redder J - H colors than most C asteroids. The unusually red J - H color of 246 Asporina indicates it is a member of the A class.
