Analysis techniquesAnalysis techniques for the sea surface temperature (SST) intercomparison were discussed. Systematic differences between various measurement techniques were identified and examined. This in turn might reveal areas for needed improvement in the SST retrieval algorithms or, at the very least, a clearer understanding of the limitations of each sensor.
