Dynamics and control of flexible orbiting systemsMathematical modeling and design analysis is carried out for large flexible spacecraft and antenna systems. Modeling topics include inertially fixed attitude stabilization, solar radiation pressure effects, control systems for space mast structures, and optimal control of a hoop/column space antenna system. Each subject includes a brief overview of the pertinent literature and details of the proposed solutions for the specific modeling tasks.
