Sensor failure detection for jet engines using analytical redundanceAnalytical redundant sensor failure detection, isolation and accommodation techniques for gas turbine engines are surveyed. Both the theoretical technology base and demonstrated concepts are discussed. Also included is a discussion of current technology needs and ongoing Government sponsored programs to meet those needs.
