Shielding Against Intense Laser BeamsMultiple-layer shielding proposed to protect equipment against damage by intense infrared laser beams. New shielding concept reduces effect of destructive phase changes upon reflectance by allowing exposure of additional reflecting layers after overlaying layers vaporized.
