Ferroresonant Circuit With Increased EfficiencyAdditional inductor reduces heating and increases stability. In modified circuit small inductor in series with capacitor reduces criticality of tuning. Broadens commutating interval but decreases peak commutating current sufficiently to reduce net heating over complete cycle.
