Low-Noise Supersonic NozzleTwo-dimensional nozzle incorporates unusual design features of rapid expansion contour, boundary-layer bleed slots upstream of throat, and exit width-to-height ratio of 1.7 to provide noise levels in upstream regions of test rhombus substantially lower than in conventional nozzles.
