Strong Langmuir turbulenceBeam-excited Langmuir turbulence in the solar wind is discussed and the criteria for wave-particle, three-wave and strong turbulence interactions are explained. The results of a numerical integration of the Zakharov equations are presented which describe the strong turbulence saturation of a weak (low-density) high energy, bump-on-tail beam instability.
