Activities at the Lunar and Planetary Institute, introduction

Facilities and capabilities for disseminating imagery and other information are described as well as the computer center and production services offered. The scientific staff, visitor program, projects, conferences, publications, and communications are also discussed. Support for the Ames Vertical gun facility and the responsibilities of the Lunar and Planetary Science Council are summarized.
