Weather and Climate Parameters from Tiros-nThe objective of the research is to develop a processing system for analysis of HIRS2/MSU data on the TIROS/NOAA meteorological satellites to be used both to improve forecasting skill and to develop climatological data for at least a five year period. Research involves both the development of improved techniques and validation studies of the retrieved products.
