MoonThe present state and evolution of the physical features which are visible on the Moon's surface are emphasized herein. Lunar craters, their distribution and stratigraphy, and the cratering processes are addressed. Homologous material is presented for lunar basins. Terra breccias, maria, and mare basalts are discussed. Lunar geologic history is also considered.
