Efficient structures for geosynchronous spacecraft solar arraysA prototype deployer for the STACBEAM (Stacking Triangular Articulated Compact Beam) is being developed. The STACBEAM is an accordian-folded solar array blanket. The prototype was constructed as a point design for support of a 23.9-kW blanket and is described.
