Some Asymptotic Problems in the Optimal Control of Distributed SystemsThe optimal control of structures which consist of composite materials or of perforated materials is discussed. Asymptotic formula, derived from the so-called homogenization theory, are presented which allow the replacement of very complicated problems by much simpler ones.
