Weighted least squares formulas for multiple Doppler radar analysisAn algorithm is developed for the analysis of multiple Doppler radar data in meteorological applications. The algorithm is based on the least squares linear solutions for the variable parameters of a local particle velocity field. The computational sequence for the algorithm is described, and some factors influencing the covariance of Doppler measurement errors are discussed.
