Nonisotropic coronal atmosphere on IoA model is presented for calculating nonisotropic coronal atmospheres. This is tested by comparison with the analytic results for an isotropic atmosphere. It is then used to consider differences between sublimated and sputtered corona on Io with reference to the ion and electron bombardment of such coronae when the exobase is at or near the surface.
