Lightweight, Nesting StrutsHollow cones easily assembled to form trusses. Struts made of graphite-fiber-reinforced epoxy resin tapered for stiffness and compact nesting for transportation. Developed for building large truss structures in space. Useful on Earth in small structures where great strength not required.
