Euler analysis of an elliptic missile body

The Euler code FL057 was applied to a blunt nose smooth surface missile body shape. A range of angle of attacks was analyzed at Mach numbers of 0.55 and 2.0. A Mach number sweep from 0.55 to 2.0 was run for 12 degrees angle of attack. Experimental force and moment data were compared at Mach 2.0. The Euler code agreed with the experimental data over the linear portion of the Mach 0.55 data and over the entire angle-of-attack range at Mach 2.0.
