Aircraft liftmeterA display for aiding the pilot of an aircraft in anomalous wind environments is described. Wind velocity components are measured by an instrument, processed by a computer and a vector generator, and then displayed as a vector. The display utilizes the measurements of ground speed and of wind velocity in three mutually perpendicular directions. This display will also show changes in lift of an aircraft.
