Data handling and data flow design and their application in the space telescope guide star selection systemThe data formats and data encapsulation techniques used in the Space Telescope Guide Star Selection System (GSSS) are described. Emphasis is given to the use of image field and object list transformation to organize and refine high-levels of data flow from Space Telescope. The application of the Ada programming language to data encapsulation techniques is discussed in detail.
