Bonded-Plate Airfoil ConstructionAirfoil design for testing in 0.3-m Transonic Cryogenic Tunnel was symmetrical supercritical shape, consistent with flat-bond-plane bonding-and-channeling technology that had been developed. Technique offers greatly increased flexibility in orifice and pressure-channel layout.
