Predicting Visible Range Of An ObjectReport and supplementary materials present method for estimating maximum distance which Spartan free flyer seen by star trackers on Space Shuttle. Brightness, and visible range calculated by using simplified model of object as reflector, taking into consideration orientation of object and predicted relative positions of Shuttle and Sun.
