Phobos and Deimos: Satellites of MarsThe physical characteristics of Phobos and Deimos, satellites of Mars, are discussed. Phobos and Deimos are used as an example to discuss the probable internal structure of objects of this type and the structural formations on their surfaces. The history of astronomical observations of Mars is also described.
