Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) for FAR Parts 91 and 135 operatorsThe why, what, and how of CRM at Flight Safety International (FSI)--that is, the philosophy behind the program, the content of the program, and some insight regarding how it delivers that to the pilot is presented. A few of the concepts that are part of the program are discussed. This includes a view of statistics called the Safety Window, the concept of situational awareness, and an approach to training that we called the Cockpit Management Concept (CMC).
