Making Intricate, Thin GasketsEffective but inexpensive method developed for quickly fabricating intricate thin-film elastomeric seals for use in instrumentation manifolds. Uses aluminum stock and standard machine practices to prepare intricate thin-film seals quickly. Holes burned through gasket material with hot probes, using aluminum fixture for precise alignment.
