Elementary process and meteor train spectraMechanisms of excitation of individual spectral line radiation were studied experimentally and theoretically and it was demonstrated that such processes as oxidation, resonant charge exchange, dissociative recombination and others play an important part in the chemistry of excited particles. The foundation was laid toward simulating the elementary processes of meteor physics. Having a number of advantages and possibilities, this method is sure to find a wide use in the future.
