Hubble space telescope pointing control system simulationA time domain simulation of the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) pointing control system is described. The simulation was developed to aid in the evaluation of moving target pointing algorithms and to serve as an analysis tool. The HST pointing control system is briefly described, and the time domain simulation is discussed. A typical simulation result for moving target tracking is presented.
