Progress In Imaging Radar PolarimetryReport traces development of imaging radar polarimetry at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory during recent years. When fully developed, multipolarization synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) systems aboard aircraft and spacecraft expected to yield wealth of data for assessment of resources, agricultural forecasting, and verification of radar-scattering calculations.
