Acoustic source identification using an inverse Helmholtz integral equation methodA noise source identification procedure based on a boundary element implementation of the Helmholtz integral equation is presented. This technique makes it possible to identify noise sources in highly reactive fields and to include complex sources and the effects of environmental interaction in the analysis.
