The LPL radial accelerometerThe LPL stellar accelerometer, an interferometrically calibrated spectrometer, is described. Particular attention is given to light feed, image scrambling, and interferometric wavelength calibration. Changes in radial velocity are inferred from changes in the relative intensities of starlight transmitted through the Fabry-Perot.
