Utilization of wind tunnel instrumentation with software verificationsSoftware tools developed for the National Full-Scale Aerodynamic Complex (NFAC) for verifying data integrity and troublehooting problems are discussed. The Hardware Check verifies that the incoming signals are properly connected and are being acquired into the real time data system. The Zero/Cal Check program verifies the reliability of the wind tunnel instrumentation by checking the zero and calibration points. The Power Spectral Density Plots help to identify the frequency components of a signal. Drift Program and Thermal Plots tools are also described.
