A simple solar microwave burst observed with high spectral resolutionA small flare that occurred on February 3, 1986 which was dominated by a single homogeneous source is analyzed. The theory of microwave emission from homogeneous sources was used to trace the evolution of the burst. The spectral profile indicates a thermal origin. It was found that the source expanded with time during the burst.
