Simulation Of Three-Dimensional Supersonic FlowsComplicated flows computed with fair accuracy. Report describes simulations of steady, three-dimensional, viscous, supersonic flows by NASA Ames Parabolized Navier-Stokes computer code. Based on assumption flow supersonic in streamwise direction and subsonic flow in viscous sublayer always positive in streamwise direction. Predicts flows in regions of canopies, wings, and canards in addition to simple symmetric configurations used to demonstrate computational techniques. Also simulates interactions between aerodynamic surfaces.
