Polytetrafluoroethylene-Impregnated Anodization For AluminumTechnical memorandum describes experiments on ability of two commercial coatings and of standard hard anodization to protect aluminum against corrosion. Both commercial coatings, Polylube and Tufram, polytetrafluoroethylene-impregnated anodizations. Standard hard-anodized coating found to provide greatest protection.
