Nuclear cross sections for estimating secondary radiations produced in spacecraft

The physical theory underlying calculations of nuclear absorption and fragmentation cross sections and EM dissociation cross sections is reviewed; typical results are presented in graphs; and the adequacy of the experimental data bases for each type of cross section are discussed. The emphasis is on computations applicable to the estimation of secondary radiation in shielded spacecraft.
