Solution of the Navier-Stokes equations in three dimensionsThe impact of computational fluid dynamics on the design of fluid dynamics devices is discussed. An efficient numerical procedure for solving the Navier-Stokes equations in three dimensions is discussed and flow simulations made on an inexpensive desk top work station are presented.
