Placing Control Surfaces To Suppress Aeroelastic FlutterMethod for assigning positions of control surfaces to suppress aeroelastic flutter involves analysis of transfer of energy. Neither depends on nor prescribes specific form of control law. Assuming suitable control law available by whatever means, shows how to determine where on aircraft or airfoil control surface(s) maximally effective in suppressing flutter.
