Progress report on IRI statusThe paper gives a short introduction to past and present International Reference Ionosphere (IRI) work. It reviews previous editions of the IRI and lists the improvements planned for the next edition, IRI-90. A progress report is given on the new features and corrections that have already been implemented in the development version of IRI-90.
